I forgot to show you.

My new 'media centre'. There lies (from the left)
Catch and Frank.

Catch's smexy cool key and dashboard.
Good ol' Frank at the back,
making a fuss.

My new 'media centre' set up! Isn't it awesome, regardless of how badly taken it was (I should've used flash or at least photoshopped it)? Ever since Catch came into our lives, I decided to set him up along side with Frank on my desk. Now I work with two babies laptops. I've decided to let Frank take the job of music DJ and Catch take the head's job. I've got a set of 2.1 Creative speakers which I plugged up to Frank. It's sweet. Now I can control music easily and the way I like it on a seperate laptop, and use the other as my main one.

My room has never looked cleaner! Everything is neatly tucked away, unlike before - books sprawled across my working desk; pens that work and don't work all bunched into two small pencil holders; books I want to read but don't touch in the end stacked, one after the other in a corner on my already busified desk. My room doesn't look like a 14-year-old's room anymore. I suppose the presentation of one's bedroom reflects themselves, don't you think so?

Today was my first day of work. Some might wonder: what the hell is this work? I used to think of an answer for that before. The experience is good. Working, I mean.

I was working at Moripin at the new Hartamas Shopping Centre. The centre is quite a dead and slow paced shopping place. Since it's new, I won't make so much of a fuss about how desolate it is. My mum's friend owns this litle jewellery and other knick-knacks shop, and my friend had been telling me about her job at the Fish&Co restaurant at Bangsar Village - from all that, I asked mum to get me a job at her friend's place. Bam. One week later, and today, it was my first day of work.

At first, I was going to turn the job opportunity down, because I would only be paid RM 4 an hour, which is about AUD$ 1.50. Talk about slavery! However, I was told that the low wage was typical and average wage for a young teenager working part-time in Malaysia. I was quite put off by it. In Sydney, I have friends working for AUD$ 9 an hour, which is approximately RM 27 AN HOUR. If I worked 5 hours a week in Sydney, I would receive AUD$ 135 a week! That is RM 378! Now that's what I'm talking about!

But whatever. I'm working now in KL for the experience and the skills. I'm hoping that they will help me get a job easier when I go back to Sydney. I also like to look at working as a chance for me to get off my ass and out of the apartment.

Cheers.
PS. One night I was too bored, so I stuck up some photographs on a section of one of my walls. They are photographs of the many fun times I've had with my friends from
St Caths. I miss you all ok? NOMMY. KWANKWAN. JUDYJUDEJUDE. And others, like MINTTT and otherothers, like MR POOLE, MR HEWS and NEVILLE. :)
